ORGANS´ DESCRIPTIONS 

In BioTK® every organ and system can have a descriptive text. These descriptions appear at the top of the properties tab every time you double CLICK an organ or system in the organs´ browser 3D.


Create , edit and save DESCRIPTIONS
The descriptions of organs or systems can be modified, deleted and shared in a virtual community.

  • Edit : To edit a description, just click inside the text box and edit the text as desired. You can change as many descriptions as you want.


  • Saving: To save the changes made to the descriptions follow the instructions

A. Click the button on the tab Save - Load

B. Click in  


Once you click on the button descriptions a new menu appears, follow these steps to save the new descriptions:

1. Place the mouse cursor into the text box.

2. Enter the name you want to save the descriptions.

3. Click the icon or hit enter.

The descriptions are shown in the bottom of the list.

Other functions of this window are:

4. Reset: Loads the original descriptions

5. Refresh: Updates the list of available descriptions.

6. To load the descriptions created, whether owned by you or shared by any other user.

7. Click on this icon to delete descriptions.

8. The descriptions are private, that is, accessible only who creates them. However you can share with your community by clicking on the icon .

Share descriptions Web version of BioTK

By default, the descriptions are private. If you want to share them with your community BioTK® follow these steps :
  • Click on icon  that identify the descriptions as private, not shared , ,    changes to the icon
  • For private return them again click on the icon public .

Loading descriptions shared by other users ( Web Version Only )
  • For descriptions that a user has shared click the Guest User option in SaveLoad tab and enter the email of the user that has shared the descriptions you want to load.
  • Now select the Connect as a guest option and then click Connect to Server .

  • Choose from the list of shared descriptions that you want to load and click the button   .
  • Once this charged atmosphere can pass 3D interaction and verify laden descriptions.
  • If you want to save these descriptions click Primary User and savee according to the procedure described above.

Check list of descriptions ( Only Web version )

  • You can view the full list of descriptions that you created in the main window BioTK® just by clicking the icon descriptions. Public or private: a list of descriptions created, organized by volume, creation date and privacy status.

  • It is also possible in this window change the privacy status descriptions to do so:
    • Click on the description you want to change the privacy status.
    • Select edit description
    • Click the check box activating public sharing.
    • To return to private do disable it by clicking check box
